Gorway Probus Club has a very active Bowling Section led by Bowling Section leader John Llewellyn. The outdoor bowling season is considered to be from 1st April to 1st October and the Club plays at Lichfield Road Bowling Green on Tuesdays between 10am & 12noon. The indoor season is considered to be between the 1st October and 1st April and the Club plays at Bloxwich Leisure Centre on Mondays between 10am & 12noon.

Bowling matches are also played both at home and away against neighbouring Probus Clubs Aldridge, Bloxwich and Walsall. Matches are always played in a good spirit although it should be borne in mind that some bowlers take their sport very seriously indeed particularly the famous “Pickering Cup” !!!

Each year Gorway Probus Bowlers invite our ladies to our annual “Ladies Day” event where we entertain our Ladies and widows.

The Celebrated Gorway Probus Club 2011 Bowling Singles and Pairs Championships have now been completed.
